It's 2:30 in the morning...
..and I'm still up crafting. :P My 7 month old daughter has my sleep schedule all weird right now and instead of laying in bed wide awake I thought my time might be better spent making something cute.
This isn't the greatest tutorial ever but you should be able to get the idea. ;)

You'll need:
- Rectangle of Halloween fabric. Size is up to you
- Rectangle of clear vinyl for window
- Ribbon or cord for drawstring
- Needle and thread or sewing machine
- Iron
- Felt scraps and glue (optional)
Step 1: Fold the long ends of your fabric in 1/4" and press flat.
Step 2: Fold the short ends of your fabric in 1 inch, press flat and stitch closed along the bottom edge
Step 3: Measure down 4" from one end of your rectangle and cut. Fold down raw edges 1/4" and press flat.
Step 4: Pin the small piece of fabric to the top of the vinyl rectangle and the large peice of fabric to the bottom of the vinyl rectange. Stitch vinyl to the wrong side of the fabric.
Step 5: Fold the fabric in half right sides together and stitch up the sides. Make sure you only stitch up to the bottom seam of the drawstring casing.
Step 6: Turn the pouch right side out. Thread the ribbon or cord through the casing and tie the ends together in a knot.
The pouch is ready to go just as it is, but if you'd like to add a little something extra here's where the felt scraps and glue come in.
Cut out little Halloween shapes (pumpkins, ghosts, bats, etc.) and glue them onto the vinyl window.
Have fun! :D

Recycled Wrapper Bib Tutorial
Today I thought I'd share with you how to make a super cute baby bib from a recycled food wrapper.
You'll need:
- Bib - to make a pattern
- Food wrapper of some kind
- Clear vinyl
- Flannel or Fleece
- Scissors
- Thread
- Velcro or Snap
- Needle and Thread or Sewing Machine
Step 1: Place your bib onto a large piece of paper and trace around it to make a pattern. Cut it out.

Step 2: Place the pattern piece on top of your wrapper to make sure it will work. You can make almost any wrapper work just by cutting it apart and taping it back together in the right shape.

Step 4: Pin the pattern on top and cut around it.

Step 5: Remove the pattern and sew around the outer edge of the bib. If you're using a sewing machine this part can be a little tricky, so go slow. ;)

Step 6: Add VELCRO or a snap to make it close and you're all set!

This is a fun and easy project. They make great baby shower gifts! :D
